A short stay at The Prom

Wilsons Promontory is a National Park about 3 hours east and south of Melbourne - it's one of my favourite places.  We spent a few days there in the Easter School holidays.  H and I went for an overnight walk, which was good and richly supplied with chocolate.

We we got back the whole family did some fishing and went on a few other walks - all in all it was a great time!  I did not do much photography, just messed about and had other sorts of fun!

Off on a walk!

Morning at Sealers Cove (we camped near here)

Crimson Rosella - taken just outside our hut
Small fish and a crazy kid
Slightly Larger fish and just as crazy a kid!
You can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

That looks a fantastic area Stewart , and then all that big game fishing LOL. just too much, But to get that Crimson Rosella right outside your hut, kinda sickened me off a bit.
Take care , Gordon.

Crazy and beautiful ... your kids have a lot of you in them and I love the hair. Looks like a beautiful and peaceful place to spend some time. I find that very inviting as there isn't much peace around here these days. Love all the pictures and love the over night walk ... did you ( could you) sleep on the ground? No snakes or bugs? I love the male bonding idea and H will remember times like that all of his life :)
